Kyle’s first 100 mile race, after just over 2 years of running, placing 16th overall.
What a grind it was. With all the rolling hills, this course was no joke. So thankful to have to have family and friends there

The oldest race in North America. How can you live in Hamilton, ON and not do ATB at least once??
With a dusting of snow on the ground from the morning, ATB did not disappoint! What a race and vibe around the course. A must run!!

The Beav 50k, 2021
A great trail race, and my first actual race, put on by the amazing Happy Trails Racing team. A great 2 lap course of the Hilton Falls Conservation Area. I surprised myself in placing 3rd for males and 4th overall!

Like last year, but faster was the goal. 5:00/km pace was the goal, with wanting at least a 5:15/km pace.
Being in late August the weather was all over the place, started with it being overcast, the raining for an hour then to a quick transition to hot and sunny.

A brain-child of Kyle’s, and with the world in flux, Kyle decided to put his new found hobby to the test, 50km around his childhood home in Huntsville, ON. Determined to make it a weekend, invited friends to join him in the weekend, some running, walking and biking various distances. Finishing at non other than the Lake of Bays Brewery in Baysville for a celebratory pint.
